Weekend Worship in Pigeon Forge, TN

We had such a great weekend leading worship in Pigeon Forge, TN for Reach Church in Dawsonville’s youth retreat! We worshipped in their cabin with them on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and were thankful to be a part of meeting Jesus with such a great group of teens and adults.

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was spent on Saturday after our morning worship and message. We had the opportunity to provide a little break-out session with some of the students in the group who are musicians or have interest in worship. Here are links to 2 of my latest blog posts on worship that I pulled from for parts of the break-out session: Being Tested by Praise and The Weak and Humbled Worship Leader. It blessed me so much that they wanted to hear the hard stuff about being a leader, and were hungry for truth. I would have loved to have had some of this spoken to me as a young worshipper, so I always want to love those young ones by being real. There are enough lies and false perceptions out there and they definitely don’t belong in worship ministry where it should always be about Jesus!:)

We always have a great time when we get to travel as a little band. There’s just something about being on the road, and the conversations about Jesus and what He’s doing in our lives that spring forth in those times is so encouraging. Brad, Carly, and I have been worshipping together for so long, it’s as if we can just disappear in His Presence and worship with the crowd and be such a simple part of what He is doing in the room. That is always my heart. That we disappear, so that He can appear in all His glory! It is my prayer that we and all worship leaders realize, that He can, and will be, and is worshipped without us. He doesn’t need us, we are just blessed to be invited to worship Him and to invite others into His Presence. All creation still worships Him when we have bad days and refuse to give Him the praise He deserves. He WILL be worshipped…don’t you want to be a part? I do! I do!!!

Hope you all are having a great start to your week! I look forward to posting some more metal art this week!

Be blessed!

Christy ❤

  1. Cheri says:

The four face buttons are, well, there – they’re positioned well, but they’re
still face buttons, and there isn’t much to be said about them. 2 mais grâce aux efforts incessants de nos développeurs, elle sera disponible dans le premier firmware. So the Dreamcast was an amazing system, but can it really be considered the Xbox Zero.
